If you follow Carissa’s weekly blog like I do, you were probably wishing you lived in Dallas so that you could attend her Fall Preview Party. Here’s a model wearing her new Katerina dress.

If you think it looks more streamlined than the Amanda shirtdress, you’re right. You can see the difference below. And don’t you love the graphite and onyx for fall? So versatile. (Which color do you think the model is wearing, by the way?)

Besides the long sleeves, Carissa tells me that Katerina also has a higher neckline, which is good news to me. I found the Amanda to be a little low when I tried it on–probably because I’m only 5’3″.

Another change is that Carissa Rose is transitioning from alpha (S-M-L) to numeric sizing, so her dresses are available in 6-18 Well Endowed (WE) and 4-16 Really Endowed (RE). Carissa told me that they’re making this change in order to increase fit accuracy.

Now if we can just convince Carissa to offer Red Violet Project readers a little pre-order discount . . . ! (Nothing after the jump.)
