No. I thought this size 16 shirt would be the simplest of all that I brought in. I wanted the shoulder seams to line up with my own shoulders, but Rosa said it would make the new armhole too narrow. She didn’t think my suggestion of adding extra fabric from the bottom of the shirt was worth the effort or expense: $25 to fix the shoulders and $20 to fix the cuffs, plus another $14 to take in the seams in back. If I absolutely loved this $20 shirt, I would have spent $59 for the alterations, but it wasn’t that special.
